Pucked Over Summary
Lily LeBlanc isn’t versed in the art of casual sex, but after seven years in an on-again, off-again relationship, she’s definitely willing to give it a shot. And who better to try it with than her best friend’s boyfriend’s best friend? What could possibly go wrong?
NHL player, Randy Ballistic, lives up to his last name on the ice and in the bedroom. His best friend and teammate has recently given up the puck bunnies and traded them in for a real girlfriend. And she just happens to have a seriously feisty, extra-hot best friend on the rebound. Randy’s more than happy to be Lily’s spring board back into the dating scene.
But casual sex is only casual until those pesky things called emotions get involved. Once that happens, someone’s bound to get pucked over.
My Review
Helena Hunting works her magic once again to bring us Pucked Over.
I absolutely adore this series, it’s one of my favourites to date.
We get re-introduced to Lily in this instalment and we get to delve a lot deeper into her head and emotions. I wasn’t sure I liked Lily to begin with but as the book progresses you get to see the real Lily and you really get to understand her behaviour.
Randy Ballistic is.. well he’s a hot, sexy hockey player. After a brief ‘meeting’ in Pucked Up Randy and Lily meet again and decide to strike up a sort of friends with benefits relationship. Randy has his own demons too which we learn a lot about and it explains a lot about his way of thinking.
Lily and Randy together is just pure comedy. That’s just one of the reasons I love this series, you are guaranteed one hell of a laugh.
Pucked Over can be read as a standalone but I would definitely recommend introducing yourself to Alex, Violet, Sunny and Miller by reading Pucked and Pucked Up first.
Five Stars!
