I wouldn’t normally pick up this genre of book to read but I’m so glad I did. Knowing that it was a Shay Savage Book also helped as I’ve read a lot of her stuff in the past and absolutely loved them. This was no different.
I have to say Talen started off a bit slow which usually puts me off reading but once the story started to pick up it took me with it. Once I’d pushed through the beginning, I couldn’t put it down. It had a bit of everything.. humour, drama romance, mystery. It was a thrill to follow and try to figure out the story.
Talen was a bit of a mystery for me. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book like this where the Hero is a sweet, caring guy and is actually helping and providing for others. From the very first chapter you see that side of him. Aerin was great. Fiercely independent, intriguing and beautiful. I really enjoyed their chemistry and the way their relationship developed.
Looking forward to reading more of Shay’s books in the future.

Shay Savage is an independent author from Cincinnati, Ohio, where she lives with her family and a variety of household pets. She is an accomplished public speaker and holds the rank of Distinguished Toastmaster from Toastmasters International. Her hobbies include off-roading in her big, yellow Jeep, science fiction in all forms, and soccer. Savage holds a degree in psychology, and she brings a lot of that knowledge into the characters within her stories.
